Who's ready to go to Granny and Pappy's?
Here are the kiddos all packed by noneother than Miss J herself!!!Notice Reed's name on his blue suitcase...his mom did that! :)
After I'd packed away all my stuff, I thought I should add a little airplane or train under his name! Too cute! Another day...
What's mommy doing while the kiddos are away?
Crafting of course...and sleeping late! Thanks Granny and Pappy!
I followed this tutorial to make Faux Mercury Glass
BEAUTIFUL!!!
I started out small with glass I had laying around the house...not bad for a first attempt!
And remember this little project...Part 1
I cooked spaghetti for supper one night this week...cooking ahead is another thing mommy can do while kiddos are having fun at Granny and Pappy's!!!
And Part 2
Save you pasta sauce jars and let me know if you'd like a set...might make a nice gift for someone too...of course, you'd use nicer glassware!

More Projects
Ok...so I've been doing some more crafting...
I made this cute shirt for my little "love"
Here she is modeling it!
:)
I think she likes it!
She was so proud(and so was I!!!) to tell her friends that her mommy had made it for her!
I also did some glass etching...so fun!
The pitcher is for my neighbor with an "A"
I did an "F" and a fleur d lis on the opposite side of a vase!
This is part one of a project I'm working on!
It's a pasta sauce jar for my utensils!!!
We have two more jars of pasta to empty before I can do the spoons and knives!
Can't wait!

Rodeo
We saddled up our cowgirl and little cowboy and joined the Rodeo crowd this weekend!
Julian had to have a rope...she knows a little cowpoke who has a rope! :)
Now she's swinging one, too! Thanks Granny and Pappy! Can't wait till next year!
Julian...miss shy...actually walked up to this Queen and asked her if she would take a picture with her! Funny how kids will do something if it's what they want!
PRICELESS!!!

New Household "Toy"
We are now a Silhouette SD family!
If you haven't seen this machine you need to check it out!
http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/
LOVE IT!
We've had one for a week or so and I knew I'd LOVE IT, but knew I'd never have the time!
I've felt that way for the week or so we've had it...we've made a few t-shirts...when I say we, I mean Mike and I! He wanted this thing too! To make t-shirts with the heat transfer vinyl!
But I pull it out, play with it and...NOTHING! I can't think of what to create...until today!
I hit it big time with a trip to Target!
Check out what I did while Reed took a nap and Julian went with Daddy to the property!
I even had time to post about it!
:) Makes me smile!
Let me know what you think...
These are gifts for daycare...

Christmas Day
Christmas day we headed out to Crowley to spend the night with Granny and Pappy and open more presents, of course!
All this excitement and Reed's napping and Julian is trying to stay awake to watch her new portable DVD player and Toy Story 3 movie!I think Reed like his Pillow Pal! But I really think he likes his sissy's new game...see him eyeing it? He's planning a takeover...
Hence why Julian's perched up on the changing table for him to not reach her!!! Brotherly/sisterly love!
Thanks Granny and Pappy! Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve
Getting Ready for Santa!
Cookies and milk courtesty of Reed and Julian!Wait I don't think that you two are supposed to be eating cookies...it's time for bed and those are for Santa!
Our tree Christmas morning after Santa had passed!
Julian woke early and crawled into bed to tell us that she saw a "Barbie" house under the tree, and indeed it was for her!!!
Now you can see why Julian was so excited!!!Thanks Santa!
Reed slept in and woke about 20 minutes later and enjoyed his cars and trucks!
Enjoying Chrismas morning at home! Merry Christmas everyone!
